- Open the Energy Saver settings in System Preferences.
- Set the Computer Sleep setting to 30 minutes.
- Set the Display Sleep setting to 10 minutes.
- Check out the free app “Caffeine” in the Mac App Store, and install it if desired to use when you don’t want your energy saver settings to be used.
